The Four Chosen

The Chosen were the elite generals of the Cabal. The name comes from the fact that they were Tchernobog's chosen ones. There have been many groups of Chosen ones throughout history. However, after the sixteenth incarnation of Tchernobog's betrayal of his Chosen they became the Cabal's greatest enemy, after Caleb, their leader, was resurrected. The Cabal did attempt to train a new group of Chosen, but were thwarted by Caleb. Caleb remained the only remaining member of the Chosen for one hundred years after he was resurrected. After all that time, the other three Chosen were resurrected due to reality fluctuations. They then proceeded to assist Caleb in defeating Gideon and CabalCo and the invasion force of the Ancient One. They were then trapped in that creature's reality and encountered and fought the Nightmare. It is unknown what happened to the Chosen after this, maybe they did make it back to our reality, took over the Cabal, and ruled the world.
