Purge Night (IE1M01 or IRA01) is the first level of the Blood fan add-on The Way of Ira (2019). It is set within Caleb's domicile and yard, before spreading out into the near by village being purged by the Cabal.
Walkthrough[edit]
"Caleb wakes up. He finds the door kicked in, his neighbour's dead body against the wall and no sight of his cat Cleo. Caleb decides to track down the cultists and their leader Cramon." — Official description
Caleb storms out of his home, defends his yard and garden, and trudges down the rocky hillside into the besieged village. Fighting through some store fronts and façades, and around a newly central guillotine, he faces a throng of cultists praying in the nearby chapel. This unlocks the graveyard gate and reveals the primary way out; the more persistent however, can reach a locked back alley leading out into the woods by blasting a wall crack in a wine cellar.

Fun Stuff[edit]
- The basic set up of this level is very similar to G1M1: Caleb's Tomb from Banzai's Add-On (1998) in terms of descending upon the village, and also similar to DWE1M1: Home Sweet Home from Death Wish (2011) in terms of set up.
