Fan Fiction Archive[edit]

I have downloaded all the fan fiction except for my own and placed it in a directory on my second hard-drive for storage. If Planet Blood ever goes down we can host the stories on our own with these back-ups.

Good plan but how about in addition we could build up hosting on the wiki itself, giving them their own pages. For this we should contact the copyright owners (most likely the authors) and get permission first. Cerberus 15:23, 14 January 2009 (EST)

Dead Reckoning ZIP file containing all 25 documents in MS Word format on SendSpace is expired. Somebody please re-upload or/and use another file-hosting, which does not expire (FanFiction.Net?).

New Stories[edit]

I have uploaded and added links to some new Blood fiction by me. Enjoy!

Note: The reason that Eric J. Juneau's stories use their offical descriptions from their website is that he uploaded them himself, placing them under the GFDL now from this source. Gideon 17:27, 26 July 2008 (EDT)

Tip on Formats[edit]

Here are some tips on opening up the fan fiction formats, with some of the things I have done it with and things that should do it listed.

  • .TXT (text) files can be opened with just about any text editor (NotePad, GEdit, Kate).
  • .DOC (document) files can be opened with Microsoft Word, OpenOffice.org, and AbiWord.
  • .ODT (open document) files can be opened with OpenOffice.org and AbiWord.
  • .HTML files can be opened in any web browser (Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome, Konqueror, Epiphany and Internet Explorer)
  • Forum Post: see .HTML
