The Voice

The Voice^TM is the name given to the announcer in BloodBath. It is the same voice and voice actor as Tchernobog (Jason Hall), but not necessarily the same character. GT Interactive producer Rick Raymo is listed as a ghost writer for The Voice in the Blood II: The Chosen credits.

The Voice adds a bit of atmosphere to the multiplayer. It declares the start of each match, and each time a player dies, The Voice announces it with some descriptive and gory phrase. A text message also announces the death, but uses a complete phrase, rather than one or two words.

The Voice also appears in the related Monolith Productions game Get Medieval, only now narrating in both single and multiplayer. One might conjecture that as The One That Binds, Tchernobog witnesses and comments on actions among different planes of reality.
