Green Town (FATEE1M5) - formerly RATME1M5 - is the fifth level of the first episode of the fan add-on Rage Against the Machine (2007) and its remaster Fate of the Damned (2023). It is set in an urban area, featuring a variety of locales, most notably a strip mall linked by ventilation duct.

Walkthrough[edit]
Crashing his way into the Green Town station, Caleb proceeds to "paint the town red", shooting his way through a gallery and an entire block of stores.

Secrets[edit]
- After getting off the right side of the train,if you go forward, you'll see some crates and barrels. Go past them until you see a wall with a poster sign named "Northbound Express." Interact with it and turn right. Reward: Basic Armour, Beast Vision
- In the room with the eye door, inspect the bookshelf past the desk. Reward: Life Seed
- In the museum, where the moon elevator is located, on its right there's a painting of a woman and a child. Interact with it and look to your right; you should see a small wall opening up. Reward: Drum of Bullets, Bundle of TNT
- Once you're inside the dress shop, you'll come across a desk with two cash registers. Inspect the one on the left while you're facing the entrance door. Reward: Body Armour
- While exploring the dress shop, you'll find a ventilation shaft. Once you do the first jump to get inside,continue along while looking upwards, and you'll come across a grate; destroy it and jump upwards. Reward: Doctor's Bag, A Few Bullets
- From the previous secret, continue along the ventilation shaft, and you'll find yourself in the weapon shop. Check behind the counter, and you'll find a switch. Flip it, and a window will open. Shoot the target inside, and a little window will open. Reward: Case of TNT
- Once you find yourself in the fire room key, you'll see a crack in the wall. Do not blow it up yet; flip the switch first and then kick or use the pitchfork on the zombie head in the square spot made of ropes. The door on the left will open. Reward: Tommy Gun, Shotgun Shells
- Super Secret: In the last secret, you'll see in front of you nine cubes with letters. Interact with them to spell "Buy me toys," and you'll hear a door open. Exit through the fire key door, turn right, and proceed until you come across the weapon shop on the right. Face left, and you'll see an open room enter it. Reward: Super Armour, Life Seed, and the entrance to the secret level
Fun Stuff[edit]
- The level's name is from an announcement heard in E1M3: Phantom Express, "Next stop Green Town!"
- This in turn was a reference to Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury.
- While going through the duct work, the player can hear the sounds of gunfire and even Caleb's voice, and then come upon the remains of dead Cabalists. Some sort of doppelganger is at play.
