Forest of Shadows (FATEE1M3) - formerly RATME1M3 - is the third level of the first episode of the fan add-on Rage Against the Machine (2007) and its remaster Fate of the Damned (2023). It is set in a forested area overran by the Cabal, before leading into a temple.

Walkthrough[edit]
Caleb heads out into a nearby forest, wherein he duels with zombies rising up outside nearby cabins and reaches an urban area through a temple complex, filling a basin of blood to get a needed key.

- In the first house, once you go upstairs, there's a closet on the right. Open it and interact with the wooden wall. Reward: Beast Vision, Shotgun Shells x2
- Once outside the house, you'll see a dried-up tree with a few leaves. Approach it, and you should find yourself looking at two big trunks and a smaller tree on the right. Pass in between the two big trunks until you pass the fake wall. Reward: Flare Gun, Life Essence
- Inside the temple, with the cobweb covering the entrance, you'll see on the left a wall with some decoration. Reward: Guns Akimbo
- In the hallway that leads to the fire gate, you'll see a room on the right side. Enter the room and inspect the tomb on the left while crouching. Reward: Sawed-Off Shotgun, Life Seed
