Blood II was originally supposed to feature around thirty different weapons; weapons cuts were announced starting in July 1998.

Grenade Launcher[edit]

This weapon had a picture on the Blood II website, but was never included in the final game, likely due to similar weapons like the Assault Rifle's alt-fire and Howitzer.

The Decapitator[edit]

This weapon was announced on the Blood II website, but not included in the final game. It was likely removed or replaced because of the Orb.

T34 "Irradiator" Microwave Gun[edit]

This weapon was announced on the Blood II website, but not included in the final game

Spear Gun[edit]

The Spear Gun was a cancelled weapon that was originally supposed to make its appearance in Blood, but never made its way into the final release. A Spear Gun concept art did find its way to the Blood website however, and a version of it is in the Blood Alpha using a sprite later used for the Tesla Cannon.

Fan-created Weapons[edit]

Chainsaw[edit]

The only weapon unique to a fan game, it is exactly the same as the Doom chainsaw from which it was copied. It has only one attack mode, where the player dips it down and turns it on to over drive, where the player can run at an enemy and tear it to shreds. It runs on a low mode while walking, creating a low electrical hum. If you use the FreeDoom IWAD it becomes a circular saw.
